CCPRC is seeking bids from qualified contractors for repairs to the Edisto Hall Building at James Island County Park. This project consists of the replacement of the exterior siding, windows, doors, and roofs with fiber cement siding, impact resistant doors and windows, a new asphalt single roofing system and mechanical and electrical repairs. The Architectural work includes removal and replacement of the exterior wood siding system, windows, exterior doors, roofing systems. Interior work includes removal and replacement of the existing T1-11 paneling system, refinishing of the existing concrete floor, and installation of new interior finishes, and standing and running trim. The Structural work includes, but is not limited to, replacing or supplementing structural framing which appears to have been damaged by wood-consuming organisms, removing and replacing all wall sheathing, removal of the concrete stage and installation of a new slab-on-grade with brick pavers, and supplementation of the existing roof sheathing fastener pattern. The Mechanical scope includes ductwork modifications to existing split system heat pumps, addition of a dehumidification unit, and new thermostats. The Electrical scope includes miscellaneous replacement of receptacles and light switches, and addition of IT Room.
