The Department of the Interior, The National Park Service Contracting Operations (ConOps) East NY MABO intends to issue a Request for () for a construction solicitation consisting of Repair work in Building 40 shall consist of debris removal, wood floor repair, inspection and repair of roof sheathing and framing, replacement of high sloped and low slope roof section overlays, replacement of wood fascia and soffit, replacement of copper gutters, additionally window openings will be boarded. Building 40 is a contributing resource to the Fort Hancock and Sandy Hook Proving Ground National Historic Landmark District and that all work will be completed in conformance with the Secretary of the Interior Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
