**As of June 25,2025 the project was awarded APAC-Central, Inc, with an awarded amount $1,825,757.05.** The project generally consists of Mill, HMAC Overlay of streets, and traffic striping located in an western region of the City of Springdale. Bid security, as defined in the Instructions to Bidders, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid amount must accompany the submitted bid. Bidders shall make such inspection and studies ofthe site ofthe work as to familiarize themselves with all conditions to be encountered. A contractor's license is not required to submit a bid. However, a contractor's license is required to execute a construction contract. Subcontractors must be licensed in accordance with the requirements of Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of Arkansas, as amended. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent (100%) of the contract amount, as security for the faithful performance of the work and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the work. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days. The City of Springdale reserves the right to accept any bid or bid alternate, to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejections, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest of the City of Springdale.
