Scope of Work 1. Contractor agrees to provide Septic Tank Pumping and Disposal Services to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as described herein: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, supplies, travel, transportation, dump fees and necessary incidentals to provide on call routine and non-routine septic tank pumping and disposal services at Caltrans locations in Butte, Lassen, and Plumas counties: 2. Subcontracting is not permitted under this Agreement. All references to subcontracting or subcontractors as found herein are not applicable to this Agreement. 3. The services shall be performed at the following Caltrans locations within in Butte, Lassen, and Plumas counties: A. B. C. D. E. F. G. H. I. J. Honey Lake Lake Safety Roadside Rest Area (SRRA), Lassen County, Highway (Hwy) 395, Post Mile (PM) 49.6 Secret Valley SRRA, Lassen County, Hwy 395, PM 96.5 Bogard SRRA, Lassen County, Hwy 44, PM 14.5 Lake Almanor SRRA, Plumas County, Hwy 36, PM 12.8 Pulga Maintenance Station, Butte County, 13756 Hwy 70, Pulga, CA 95980 Massack SRRA, Plumas County, Hwy 70, PM 49.8, 6 Mi. East of Quincy LT. Davis SRRA, Plumas County, Hwy 70, PM 79.2, 3 Mi. East of Portola Susanville Maintenance Station, Lassen County, 471-800 Diane Drive, Susanville, CA 96130 Beckwourth Maintenance Station, Plumas County, 81315 Hwy 70 Beckwourth, CA. 96122 Hat Creek Maintenance Station, Lassen County, 13191 Brians Way, Old Station CA. 96071 4. Any reference to Caltrans Contract Manager shall also include designee. 5. This Agreement will commence on June 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by the Department of General Services (DGS)/Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement shall have no force or effect unless it is approved in writing by DGS/Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on May 31, 2028 (estimate). Contractor shall perform routine services Monday through Friday between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., and non-routine services Monday through Sunday 24 hours per day seven (7) days per week and non-routine services shall be performed outside of normal business Monday through Sunday 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week, including State Holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
