Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Lincoln Drive Bridge Abutment Rehabilitation project consisting mainly of demolition and disposal of the existing spalled concrete areas, demolition of a wingwall, installation of a new full 4" reinforced concrete face lift on one abutment, repair of multiple spalled areas on the other abutment including a full face finish, replacement of guide railing, and bank restoration being comprised of the installation of riprap. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Lewis Run Borough or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each bid. A performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100 %) of the contract as awarded will be required as security for faithful performance of the contract. The successful contractor will be required to comply with all applicable prevailing wage rates, and the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. The Owner reserves the right, as its interests may require, to reject any and all proposals or waive any formalities or technicalities.
