New Smyrna Beach Utilities is seeking a quote from a Licensed and Insured HVAC Contractor to supply and install a 6-ton AC system at our Central Office Building located at 200 Canal Street New Smyrna Beach Florida 32168. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, supervision, crane services and permits for this project. The contractor's bid shall be based on actual field measurements. All products shall be installed per manufacture specifications. Scope Overview: 1. Remove existing unit and install a new 6-ton ac unit (Carrier, Trane or Tempstar). 2. Provide and install new electric heater to match existing. 3. Provide and install new thermostat, condensate safety switches and hurricane tie down clips. 4. Provide complete system startup and one year labor warranty. 5. Provide one year manufacturer parts and 5 year compressor warranty. 6. Contractors' safety will be observed for compliance with local, State, and federal standards. At no time will NSBU staff be seen as directing a contractor's job while attempting to maintain safe compliance. It is the contractor's duty to maintain safe control of their working environment. 7. All work is to be completed week days between 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
