Botetourt County solicits proposals from qualified engineering, architectural, and surveying firms to provide professional services on an on-call, open-ended contract basis. The County will select as many as five firms from each of the varied disciplines to provide the services requested as outlined in the attached Request for Proposals. The County will select as many as five firms from each of the varied disciplines to provide the services requested as outlined in the attached Request for Proposals. As outlined in the Virginia Public Procurement Act, competitive negotiation procedures for professional services will be followed to enter into one-year term contracts with the selected firms. The contracts may be renewed, at the discretion of the County, for up to four (4) successive one-year terms. First term will begin July 1, 2025 and end on June 30, 2026. A. Surveying services to be provided include necessary fieldwork, deed research, and preparation of plats and descriptions in accordance with laws and regulations. B. Engineering services to be provided include completion of final design, permitting, and contract administration of projects from bidding through completion. Past projects have included, but are not limited to: o Environmental Site Assessments o GIS Support Services o Facility Assessment Study o Industrial Development Feasibility Analysis o Leachate Tank Repair Phase Services o Survey and Platting o Roadway Design o Archaeological Services o Mold & Moisture Assessment o Paving and drainage improvements to parking areas at recreational parks. o Athletic field master plan, concession stand, restrooms, and water/sewer drawings and specifications. o Public Safety Building hot water study and report o Design and construction management of Greenfield pad o Roof inspection, assessment, and repair/construction design C. Architectural Offerors shall furnish all labor and resources necessary for the projects identified for inclusion in this open-ended contract. The successful Offerors must meet the below minimum requirements and shall perform and carry out satisfactorily and professionally the following, but not be limited to: 1. In consultation with County staff, develop the necessary plans, sketches, specifications, and/or statements of work required to bid and construct small construction or renovation projects in accordance with all local and state regulations. 2. Develop an estimate of probable construction costs for each project on an asrequired basis. 3. Provide, on an as-required basis, suggestions on the most cost-effective means to get a project completed. 4. Provide, as requested, construction administration services.
