IMEG #23003150.01 Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Replacement of the sanitary sewer main along Washington Street/Boulevard, from Gridley Street to Harris Avenue, within the northwestern portion of the corporate limits of the City of Bushnell in McDonough County, with approximately 2,937 lineal feet of 8-inch, and 416 lineal feet of 10-inch, PVC sewer mains, 14 manholes; and all related appurtenances. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City ofBushnell, Illinois, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) ofthe total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. This project is funded in whole or in part with grant funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Attention is called to the fact that 1) not less than the Federal prevailing wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project; 2) The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3, 24 CFR Part 75; and 3) The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because oftheir race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
