All Bids will be taken under advisement with final approval coming from the Board of Trustees of Kalispell Public Schools. All Sealed Bids must be plainly marked, "KALISPELL PUBLIC SCHOOLS ROOFING & SKYLIGHT REPLACEMENT PROJECTS". All Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form found in the Specifications and signed by an officer or a person duly authorized to sign Bids. All Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 days after the bid date. All Bids must include a Bid Security of ten percent (10%) of the maximum Bid price in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, bank money order, bank draft or Bid Bond payable to Kalispell Public Schools, executed by an acceptable surety. A one-hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond will be required upon award of the contract. Kalispell Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and combination of Bids, to waive formalities, and to accept the Bids deemed most advantageous to them. The scope of our inspection was limited to those accessible spaces of the project area as described in this report. If additional suspect materials are encountered, or are likely to be encountered, during future renovation or demolition activities, they should first be assessed and/or sampled to determine whether they contain materials of concern prior to being impacted by those activities. The findings and conclusions of this report may not apply to future conditions at the site which we have not had the opportunity to evaluate. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding.
