Saint Paul Public Schools Multiple Sites SPPS Grounds Equipment Storage 2025 Saint Paul, Minnesota Como Park Elementary, 780 Wheelock Parkway West EXPO Elementary, 540 Warwick Street South Journeys Secondary, 90 Western Avenue South Maxfield Elementary, 380 Victoria Street North Washington Technology Magnet School, 1495 Rice Street. Question Deadline 05/02/2025 at 2:00 PM CT Questions and requests for clarifications should be presented in writing to the buyer via the Districts esubmission platform Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount (in the form of a bid bond or cashier's check) is required for bids totalling $175,000 or more. Electronically submitted bids require a copy of the bid security to accompany submission. Original cashier's check bid security must be delivered within three (3) business days of bid opening or postmarked on or before bid opening date. The project is five small freestanding storage buildings to hold grounds equipment online. Maxfield Elementary includes additional site work. Each bidder shall review the General Conditions of the Contract, Invitation To Bid Form and Contractor Verification of Compliance forms included in the project manual as noted in 1.5 D above, to verify eligibility for consideration under the criteria established for this project. The Owner intends to recommend award of Contract on June 17 to the Board of Education (BOE). SPPS Purchasing will send Contract to bidder after BOE award and processing is completed. Minnesota Prevailing Wage statutes apply to this Work. Bidder is responsible for obtaining schedule of prevailing wage rates currently in effect and complying with these wage rates. Refer to Section 00 73 40 Prevailing Wage Rates for information and link to current rates. AIA Document A701, 2018 Edition, is hereby made a part of this Project Manual and has been included in its entirety, following this section, for reference. Supplementary Instructions have been edited and inserted into this document. Locations of modifications to the original are indicated in the left margin. The 'Invitation to Bid' Document has been included in its entirety in Section 00 41 00. Bidders must submit completed form. If included document in the Specifications, it is in draft form. An official form will be furnished by the Owner and Architect via Addendum. Responsible Contractor 'Verification and Compliance' Form has been included in its entirety, in Section 00 41 05, following the Invitation to Bid Form. Bidders must submit completed form with the Invitation to Bid Form as required by Minn. Stat 16C.285. Attachments A-1 and A-2 are Supplements to Responsible Contractor 'Verification and Compliance' Form as required by Minn. Stat 16C.285. Forms have been included in their entirety, in Section 00 41 10, following the Invitation to Bid Form. Bidders must submit completed form A-1 with the Invitation to Bid Form as required by the 'Verification and Compliance' form. The provisions and requirements of this document shall apply to all Bidders and Sub-bidders. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all Bids. A Bid not accompanied by a required bid security or by other data required by the Bidding Documents, or a Bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular is subject to rejection.
