Renovation of an educational facility in Mitchell, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each bid shall contain the bid bond or certified check, financial statement, statement of experience, non-collusion affidavit (State Form 4391) and all required information set forth in the specification documentation and shall be securely sealed in an envelope and clearly marked Mitchell Community Schools Elevator Project and list vendor name. Each bid package shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the contract price made payable to the Mitchell Community Schools. Bid Bonds must be secured by a surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in Indiana. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the Mitchell Community Schools Board of Trustees upon selection of the successful bidder. The check of the successful bidder shall be held until delivery of a performance bond in the amount of the contract price. Said performance bond shall be delivered to the Mitchell Community Schools Administration Building within fifteen (15) days of the date of the bid award. The Mitchell Community School Corporation's Board of Trustees shall award this contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. However, the Mitchell Community Schools Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole, and to waive any formalities, and to award the bid to any bidder or bidders, all to the advantage of Mitchell Community Schools.
