Soliciting bids from qualified firms to delivery approximately 50 cubic yards of VDOT Approved A4 Concrete to VDOT Bridge #11649 located on Route 655 in Lunenburg County. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From date of award through delivery of goods(nonrenewable) This solicitation is set-aside for award priority to DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses when designated as" Micro Business Set-Aside Award Priority" or "Small Business Set-Aside Award Priority" accordingly in the solicitation. DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses also includes DSBSD-certified women-owned and minority-owned businesses when they have received the DSBSD small business certification. For purposes of award, bidders shall be deemed micro businesses or small businesses if and only if they are certified as such by DSBSD on the due date for receipt of bids. Deliver approximately 50 cubic yards of VDOT Approved A4 Concrete to VDOT Bridge #11649 located on Route 655 in Lunenburg County. The delivery will be on two separate dates and the amounts of these two separate deliveries will equal to approximately 50 cubic yards. Tentative dates: June 26, 2025, and July 7, 2025, depending on weather. Slump: 4-to-5-inch slump All concrete will need to be delivered on the southside of the bridge. Drivers will need to come down Route 643 New Grove Road turn left onto Route 655 Plank Road and our jobsite will be approximately 1-mile down Plank Road. BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD: Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for sixty (60) days. At the end of the sixty (60) days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder.
