A One Hundred ($100) Dollar nonrefundable deposit for each bid package via cash, check (made payable to LAN Associates, Engineering, Planning, Architecture, Surveying, Inc. (LAN)), is required for each link. Documents will not be sent via overnight mail or US mail. Pre bid meeting notes: It is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED that Bidders attend the Pre-Bid Conference for purposes of clarifying specific information concerning the Project work, hearing other Bidders' questions regarding various aspects of the Project and the answers thereto, and learning the manner of proper completion and submission of the Bid Documents to ensure a responsive Bid. A Bidder's failure to attend the Pre-Bid Conference is at its own risk. Bid date notes: All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and must comply with every requirement contained in the instructions and specifications. Bids are to be marked in a sealed envelope and delivered to LEAP Academy University Charter School, Attention: Mr. Yusien Durakow, Business Administrator with the name of the project, "BID #26-1 - WINDOW REPLACEMENT AND MASONRY RESTORATION AT LEAP ACADEMY " plainly marked on the front of the envelope. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of existing aluminum windows and the repair or replacement of rusted or deteriorating steel lintels as necessary. Masonry restoration will involve brick repair, replacement, and repointing, along with the installation of proper brick ties to ensure structural stability. Additionally, the project includes the installation of a guardrail at the second-floor gym windows to enhance safety. Finally, the exterior catwalks and railings will be scraped, primed, and painted to restore its condition.
