Renovation of a transportation facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The project involves interior alterations within two Passenger Transfer Facility (PTF) buildings: the Mainland PTF, comprising approximately 3,300 sq ft on each of the main and second floors, and the Island PTF, covering approximately 1,600 sq ft. The scope includes the demolition of existing partition walls and the construction of new office spaces, washrooms, and servery areas. The work is organized into two primary phases: Phase 1: Interior renovations at the Island PTF Phase 2: Renovations at the Mainland PTF, which will be executed in two sub-phases to minimize disruption to airport operations. A 10% Bid Bond (submitted with tender), A 50% Performance Bond, and A 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or part thereof. The lowest Tender or part thereof will not necessarily be accepted. In Tenders requiring unit prices, The tender will be evaluated on the unit prices and not solely on the basis of the sum of unit prices multiplied by the estimated quantities.
