Architect Project No - 25-22 The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The Owner may consider a bid to be incomplete if it does not provide the required documentation as described in this Notice, including but not limited to the Minority, Women's and Veteran's Business Enterprise Participation Plan. The Base Bid may be held for a period not to exceed sixty days before awarding Contracts. All Alternate Bids may be held for a period not to exceed ninety days before award and incorporation into the contract by proper Change Directive. Should a successful Bidder withdraw his bid or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract within 10 days after notice of acceptance of bid, the Owner may declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquidated damages, not as penalty. The Work generally consists of the following: 1. The work consists of the reconfiguration of one(1) men's and one(1) women's group restrooms and one(1) all-gender restroom including the demolition of interior CMU walls, ceilings and flooring and new metalstud wall construction, doors and frames. The finishes include acoustical tile ceilings, ceramic floor and wall tile, paint, plastic laminate casework with solid surface countertops. 2. The electrical work includes demolition of power, and lighting. The new work includes new power, and LED light fixtures. 3. The HVAC work includes demolition of existing equipment, ductwork and GRDs, installation of new equipment, ductwork and GRDs. Installation of new exhaust fans and duct work. 4. The plumbing work includes the removal and replacement of existing fixtures, piping, etc. and the installation of new fixtures, piping, etc. 5. The work includes revisions to sprinkler piping. Each Bidder shall examine the Bidding Documents carefully and, not later than ten (10) days prior to the date of receipt of bids, shall make written request for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which it may discover. Verbal questions will not be answered. Request for interpretation, correction or clarification of the Bidding Documents shall be in writing to the Owner's Representative.
