This Project is known as Widening and Resurfacing SE Bisbee Loop, constructing a right turn lane on SE Bisbee Loop and constructing a left turn lane on SE CR 255. Bid Award by the Board of County Commissioners is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025 during their regularly scheduled meeting. Madison County reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Bid date description: Bids must be clearly marked with the project number printed on the outside of the front of the bid envelope as follows: Widening and Resurfacing SE Bisbee Loop, constructing a right turn lane on SE Bisbee Loop and constructing a left turn lane on SE CR 255; Project Number FY 2025-04. *BID MUST CONTAIN A COPY OF THE VENDOR'S MADISON COUNTY OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE WHERE APPLICABLE, OR CERTIFIED STATE CONTRACTOR NUMBER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.* This project consists of furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, labor and supervision, including Maintenance of Traffic (MOT), to widen and resurface SE Bisbee Loop and construct a right turn lane on SE Bisbee Loop and a left turn lane on SE CR 255 in Madison County, Florida. The governing specifications are the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications For Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition, and Roadway and Traffic Design Standards, latest edition, with any exceptions and/or additions as contained herein. A. When the specifications refer to the State of Florida or officials of the State, it shall be interpreted as the County Commissioners or their authorized representatives. B. Quantities of materials indicated in the bid proposal are approximate only and should be verified by the proposing contractors. Some bid items may be adjusted in the field by Madison County's authorized representative and will be paid for at the unit prices stipulated in the proposal following the execution of a written change order. C. There shall be no price adjustment to the bid price on liquid asphalt. D. The County may obtain samples from trucks at the job site and submit to a private testing laboratory of their choice. Each sample shall represent approximately 500 tons of material.
