Reference number: 20065499 Purchase of an indoor or outdoor refrigerated solution for ice sports The purpose of this notice is to inform potential suppliers that the City of Laval wishes to know the possibilities for the supply of a turnkey installation system, maintenance, storage and operation of a refrigerated support solution for indoor or outdoor ice sports.Major work is to be carried out in various of our arenas in order to restore the tubing of the refrigeration slabs. This work requires significant investment of time and money. In order to avoid service disruptions, we are considering an integrated solution to extend the life of some of our arenas. We would therefore like to evaluate the possibility of equipping a refrigeration belt, or another technical solution, and operating it on our current arena slabs (connected or not to our existing refrigeration systems).Note that the solution should also be able to be installed on an external site if necessary. The proposed solution must meet the following needs: Provide a refrigerated support solution to install an area of ice approximately 186 feet by 86 feet on an existing slab; Equipment must also be able to be used as an outdoor refrigerated trail (free form or circuit); Connect to a refrigeration system via the yellow area in Figure 1 (not accessible to the public); Offer rental of an outdoor refrigeration system that can be installed outdoors (orange area in Figure 1) and is operational throughout the winter season, and provide acoustic panels and installation for controlled access to the system (fence, gate, etc.); The solution may also be connected to the existing refrigeration system (green area in Figure 1, system change excluded from the mandate); Installation, de-installation, transport and seasonal storage must be included in the solution; The system must be able to be uninstalled and reinstalled in another location within a maximum of 10 business days; The proposed equipment must have a life span of at least 10 years.
