The construction-manager-at-risk (CMAR) will be contracted directly with the County and is expected to provide assistance to the County and its representatives prior to construction; offering budget, schedule and constructability advice during the project planning and design phases. The CMAR will convert from an advisory role to the contractual role of the general contractor. The project is intended to be completed in one (1) phase only. A one-story Adoption Facility of approximately 10,000 square feet will include kennel runs, sick bay, clinic room with surgery bays, offices, education/meeting room, storage areas and outdoor play yard.
