The City of Grande Prairie (the "City") is requesting detailed and comprehensive proposals from Engineering consulting firms specializing in the repair and maintenance of existing bridges to provide project management, contract administration, and construction supervision services for all aspects of the 2025 Bridge Repair and Maintenance Program. The successful proponent (the "Consultant") will provide Engineering and project management services for the repair and maintenance of existing bridges; delivering cost-effective and constructible designs that meet standards for safety, function, and durability; and supporting all phases of the project including inspections, design, tender preparation, construction administration, and post-construction services. In addition to the general bridge repair and maintenance program (Schedule A), required services for the following items are outlined within this RFP: Schedule B: Preliminary design for the replacement of BF 70806 Schedule C: Assessment of the intersection at 132 Avenue (Highway 670) and 68 Street (Range Road 53) to evaluate how the posted speed limit can be maintained at 100 km/h All work will meet or exceed the City of Grande Prairie Design and Construction Manuals.
