A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Project Type RFP (Request for Proposal) Response Types Cost File Type of Award Lump Sum Imperial Irrigation District (IID), an irrigation district established under Division 11 of the California Water Code, Sections 20500 et seq., that provides non-potable water, farm drainage and power services to the lower southeastern portion of California's desert, is requesting proposals from highly qualified Respondents to: Provide Biological and Cultural services during the pre-construction and construction of the East Highline Reservoir and Intake Channel Project. o Prepare a Worker Environmental Awareness Program (WEAP) o Conduct pre-construction surveys for burrowing owl, nesting birds, desert tortoise, flat-tailed horned lizard, Colorado Desert fringe-toed lizard, American Badger, and special-status plants o Prepare a Burrowing Owl Avoidance Plan o Implement Biological Monitoring and Compliance o Implement Cultural Resources Avoidance and Monitoring o Manage potential Discovery of Human Remains IID received financial assistance for this project through a subaward from the U.S. Department of the Interior, through an award from the Bureau of Reclamation for Small Surface Water and Groundwater Storage Projects. The Bureau of Reclamation's Small Storage Program was authorized by sections 40901(1) and 40903 of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) to promote Federal assistance to enhance water storage opportunities for future generations in support of the Department of the Interior's priorities. Scope of Work - All obligations undertaken by Consultant pursuant to this Contract as described in Exhibit 1 of the Contract including any subsequent changes to those obligations agreed to in writing by the parties. 3.0 Scope of Work IID hereby retains and engages Consultant, and Consultant accepts such engagement, to perform the services contained in the Scope of Work in the manner and for the compensation hereinafter specifically provided.
