The Tarrant Regional Water District (Owner) is requesting Proposals for the construction of the following Project: CSP 25-001 - Dechlor Improvements: Arlington and Benbrook Improvements at Arlington Outlet De-chlorination facility include but are not limited to demolition and replacement of the chemical feed process piping and associated equipment, replacement of electrical and PI & C equipment, improvements to sampling and injection yard piping, addition of cover over the existing chemical storage containment enclosure, and construction of a new building for District chemical monitoring equipment and lavatory. Improvements at Benbrook De-chlorination facility include but are not limited to demolition of existing process piping and tank pedestal, addition of chemical feed process piping and associated equipment. PROPOSAL SECURITY For Proposals over $50,000, Offerors must submit an acceptable proposal security in the form of a cashier's check from a responsible bank in the State of Texas equal to five (5) percent of the total amount of the Proposal or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the Proposal issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the State of Texas, as a guarantee that the Offeror will enter into a contract within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of contract. For Proposals over $250,000, Offerors must submit a bid bond meeting all the above requirements. If successful Offeror fails to furnish the contract and furnish the required bonds as specified in the general conditions within the specified time, the successful Offeror's bid bond will be forfeited. The Owner's Budget for the Project is $4,730,000. The Project is to be Substantially Complete and ready for operation within the number of calendar days indicated on 00 43 00 Proposal Exhibit A. The Project is to be complete and eligible for Final Payment 60 days after the date for Substantial Details of this program are included in Appendix DB - Diverse Business Participation Packet. The established participation goal for this Project is 25 percent of the Contract Price. Completion.
