Site work and paving for a road / highway in Port Wing, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Port Wing is accepting bids for a 2024-2025 LRIP Grant project. The project bid is for Hot Mix Asphalt paving for approximately 0.2 miles of Grand Avenue. The work is to include pulverizing existing asphalt, 3 inches of base placement, final base preparation (base must be compacted prior to asphalt placement), paving 3.5 inches of hot mix asphalt (22 feet wide) in 2 lifts, and construction of 2 foot compacted gravel shoulders. Bids are to be quoted using unit prices of placed base and scaled asphalt materials, the asphalt being made from an approved WISDOT mix design. The Town Board of the Town of Port Wing reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
