In general, the work consists of the testing and inspection of the campus fire alarm system within the buildings included on the Fire Alarm & Sprinkler System Inventory by Building (Exhibit E) in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Project Manager; construction estimate is not disclosed. Each bidder offering a proposal must have a current registration with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and posess a current California Contractor's Licenses C-10 and C16. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises Contractual Participation Goals, Regulations and Procedures: Due to the nature of the services which are the subject of this bid, this project has been exempted from compliance with DVBE requirements. This project is a public works project and is subject to prevailing wage rate laws (Contract General Conditions, Article 4.02).
