Sealed bids for the furnishing of Labor, materials, tools, and equipment for the following: The Project, located at the Solid Waste Transfer Station, 10 Landfill Road, Franklinton, NC, involves road widening and paving, including the saw cutting of existing asphalt, replacement of existing storm water drain lines, and improvement of existing storm water diversion ditches per the plans and specifications. Site Location- 10 Landfill Rd Franklinton, NC 27525 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for the opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. The Project, located at the Solid Waste Transfer Station, 10 Landfill Road, Franklinton, involves structural repairs to the Loading Hopper and the concrete corners (see Appendix for Structural Repairs at the rear of the specifications). Contracts No. 1 and No. 2 shall be in separate envelopes and clearly marked with the Contract Number plainly marked. For the Bid Opening (provided there are three bids), Contract 2 will immediately follow Contract No. 1 being opened.
