SCOPE Columbia County Government shall purchase concrete paving services covered by this agreement which may be required during the period of time covered by this agreement. These construction services shall be performed for agencies under the Columbia County Board of Commissioners. The County does not guarantee a minimum or maximum to be purchased under this contract. Columbia County reserves the right to order such services as may be required during the said period, and it also reserves the right not to order any services bid upon by the Contractor, if it is found that such services are not required by Columbia County. Compensation shall be for work ordered during the term of this agreement. The quantities ordered for items may be increased or decreased without any adjustment to the contract unit price or the item(s) may be deleted entirely from the contract by the County without negotiation. The Contractor will not be allowed to submit a claim against Columbia County for any adjustments to the contract unit price bid, should the item(s) be increased, decreased, or eliminated. TERM OF AGREEMENT All work shall be priced on per unit basis; bid pricing shall include all costs and will be the only amounts paid to contractor. The term of this agreement shall be for three (3) years. Columbia County reserves the right of renewing this agreement annually under the same terms and conditions. Questions regarding this solicitation must be received via email to Purchasing Officer, at ejones@columbiacountyfla.com no later than MAY 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM local time. Responses to those questions considered material to the solicitation shall be distributed via formal addenda. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a 5% bid bond with bid submittal, and if selected, furnish the County Manager with a performance bond, and proof liability insurance prior to commencing work. The Columbia County Board of County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to add to the contract or delete from the contract to stay within their funding capabilities.
