Renovation of a fire / police facility in Alcoa, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The work under this contract shall be dependent upon the work schedule of the City. However, removal/replacement of flooring shall be completed after hours, after 5pm Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays. Work must be completed by June 30, 2025. Any questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the bid deadline. SCOPE OF WORK/SPECIFICATIONS • Install protective products to protect existing interior finishes • Remove existing carpet flooring, padding, baseboards and any other materials as needed • Install new commercial grade LVP flooring, 2.5mm thick, 12mil • Install new white painted shoemold molding in office area(s) • Install new black rubber coverbase in other areas • Install an necessary transition pieces between new flooring and existing flooring that will remain • Prep area for new LVP flooring • Disposal of all materials off-site and final cleanup • Work will be performed in multiple places including Squad Room, Criminal Investigation Room and Office Areas with the potential addition of the Breakroom • Potential addition of moving furniture in quoted areas
