The Jefferson County Commissioners are currently accepting bid proposals for the construction of the Snyder Hill tower site located at 102 Conrad Road, Punxsutawney (Young Township) PA. The key project tasks and components include site preparation,construction of tower and ancillary components as specified, and an option for the demolition and removal of old tower and its components. All bids must be submitted on a Bid Proposal Form submitted with this bid package. Bids shall be accompanied by a cash, by a certified check, cashier's check, bank good faith check or other irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten (10) percent of the bid drawn upon a bank authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or by a bond with corporate surety in the amount of ten (10)percent of the bid. The successful bidder must provide proof of insurance and performance and payment bonds/surety in the amount of 50% of the contract value. The Jefferson County has the right to reject any and all bids at their discretion.
