Description of work: Monticello 2025 HMA Resurfacing; HMA resurfacing of Main Street from In-dependence Street to Piatt Street and Independence Street from Marion Street to William Street; and pave-ment reconstruction on Wil-liam Street from Independ-ence Street to Hamilton Street. The project consists of HMA surface removal, HMA resurfacing. sidewalk ramp construction, removal and replace-ment of deteriorated con-crete curb and gutter and driveway pavement, drain-age improvements, aggregate base course, installation of pavement markings, seeding and all other items as shown in the contract documents. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guaranty as provided in Chapter 12, Section 1.04 of the "Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manual" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation The successful bidder at the time of execution of the contract will be required to deposit a contract bond for the full amount of the award as provided in Chapter 12, Section 3.07 of the "Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manual" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Chapter 12, Section 3.06 of the "Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manual" prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation. (7) Prequalification of bid-ders is required for this contract. The provisions of Chapter 12, Section 3.03(b) of the "Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manual" are applicable for this project.
