Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of June 26, 2025. Project was awarded to Alfson Excavating to do the culvert work on Carstens Road, East of HWY 42 for $44,865.23, culvert on Union Road, North of Wilharms Rd for $22,827.46 and the culvert on Union Road, North of HWY 42 for $13,784.63 for a total of $81,477.32. And Manitowoc County Highway Dept to do the following work: Hecker Rd, bridge approaches over Silver Creek for $6500.00, Shoulder on Gass Lake Road for $9000.00 and paving on Northeim Lane for $6,250.00 for a total bid of $103,227. Bids for the projects Culvert Bids and Apple Wood, Rolling Hills, Trillium Court and 2 cul de sacs. The Town of Newton, Manitowoc County reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to accept any bid(s) that may be deemed most advantageous in the opinion of the Town of Newton, Manitowoc County, and shall serve in the Town's best interest No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the time and date set for the opening thereof without the consent of the Town of Newton.
