**As of July 3 , 2025 , this project has been awarded to CGS LLC, awarded amount not available.** Question Submission Deadline: May 13, 2025, 5:00pm Request for Bids Stream Stabilization at River Heights Crossing (Maintenance and stabilization on approx. 158 LF of existing sanitary sewer line located along southwest bank of Sope Creek by installing 5 ft high, 120 LF castin-place concrete wall and an approx. 38 LF rock vane installed for the purpose of deflecting stream base flows away from the sewer line and stream bank.) The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals and performing all work required to construct complete in place and ready to operate: 1. This project will consist of covering approximately 130 linear feet of exposed 48" diameter sanitary sewer line adjacent to Sope Creek by constructing a 5-ft high by 120-ft long steel-reinforced concrete wall immediately to the east of the exposed sewer line, and backfilling behind this wall with a combination of flowable fill and earth. A rock vane flow deflector will be constructed immediately upstream of the wall to direct high-velocity flows to the center of Sope Creek and away from the sewer line. All disturbed areas will be re-grassed with a specified native plant mix. 2. Maintain a safe flow of traffic within the Kinstone Columns Drive Apartment Homes and along Columns Drive. 3. Temporary and permanent erosion and sedimentation control. 4. All associated miscellaneous work, including site restoration and clean up, including if necessary repair of any damage to public and private roadway and parking lot pavements. The Project is located in Cobb County Georgia on the west bank of Sope Creek within the U. S. National Park Services (NPS's) Sope Creek Park, a straight-line distance of approximately 3000 linear feet upstream (north) of Columns Drive and 2800 linear feet downstream (south) of Papermill Road. The Project Site's Latitude is 33.9343 and its Longitude is 84.4333, within Tax Parcel ID number 17108700010. The Project Site is just northeast of the Riverview Apartment Complex, and the closest point of access to it is from the Apartment Complex's northeast most parking area located nearest to 3207 River Heights Crossing. This parking area is located a straight-line distance of approximately 350 linear feet southwest of the Project Site.
