PROJECT TITLE: This project shall replace the existing bridge and canoe launch at the Congaree National Park. Project scope includes removing the steel pedestrian bridge and the wood framed canoe launch. The bridge will be replaced with a weathered steel, pre-manufactured pedestrian bridge. The canoe launch will be replaced by a concrete ramp. The pedestrian bridge is designed for use by pedestrians and NPS-owned utility vehicles. The project is outside of the Wilderness boundary and will not be to comply with the Wilderness Act. The project is not to meet ABA (Architectural Barriers Act), but NPS seeks to make the as accessible and easy to use for as many visitors as possible at Congaree National Park Hopkins, South Carolina. Project Magnitude: The magnitude of this project is 250,000.00 to 500,000.00. This is a Women-Owned Small Business set-aside per FAR 19.203.
