14 May 2025: -Amendment 03 of solicitaion to publish answers to RFIs (Attachment 4 - 1351 Mold Abatement RFI Answers) The objective of this requirement is to provide mold abatement, remediation services to building 1351 at Travis Air Force Base, California, in compliance with the outlined specifications in the provided Statement of Work (SOW). RFIs Due: 02 May 2025 at 1100 AM PST Special Passes Needed: If you need any passes for base access to attend this site visit, please email rachel.conshue.1@us.af.mil with the names, date of birth, and company of each personnel attending (max 2 per company). Please ensure these requests are submitted no later than 28 April 2025 1100 AM. TrUSt TRAVIS THERE ARE NO BOUNDS Please email rachel.conshue.1@us.af.mil to RSVP if you intend to participate in the site visit with who can be expected to meet the contracting specialist at the visitor center on 29 April 2025 by 1000 ESCRIPTION OF WORK: The following outline of the principle features of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all materials to do a complete job within the intent and scope of the specifications, sketches, drawings and contract. General construction consists of the following items: 3.1. Contractor shall be responsible for demolition, abatement and disposal of existing drywall materials, flooring, furniture, appliances, doors and any other item that is contaminated by mold. The contractor will isolate work areas above abatement areas using critical barriers to create a negative pressure enclosure. Contractor will remove approximately 420 SY of flooring and drywall, wood back wall, with visible signs of microbial growth and water damage. Remove damaged pipe duct insulation. Clean wall cavities. HEPA Vacuum and wet wipe containment - apply anti-microbial solution. The contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials to replace insulation, drywall and wood back wall, texture, prime, and paint (Sherwin Williams 8646, PROMAR 200, ZERO VOC., EG SHELL.) the contractor will replace interior and exterior doors and cabinets if they are unable to be cleaned. Items such as beds, dressers, refrigerators and ceiling fans will not be replaced after disposal. Flooring and cove base will be replaced with a suitable substitute that matches the existing flooring. Bathroom floor tiles will be cleaned and not removed. The contractor shall perform an air sample testing prior to the removal of containment and provide a final clearance test after work is completed. Contractor will coordinate all work with POC's listed below. Work will be accomplished by approved mold workers SCOPE: Supply all material, equipment, and labor necessary to perform all operations in strict accordance with these specifications in this SOW. The contractor is responsible for all required measurements during the site visit, and those measurement will be used. The contractor will not use the approximate measurement that is provided by the government for pricing purposes. drawings will be provided if necessary. 1.1 normal hours of operations shall be from 0730 to 1630, Monday – Friday, to exclude all federal holidays. All other dates and/or times must be approved by the government. Clean up shall be done daily within these hours, e.g. pick up scraps, vacuum as needed.
