Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Gladstone, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Per the owned, bids are under evaluation. The project must be completed between December 1st and December 10th. The purpose of this is Invitation for Bid is to establish a contract with a qualified vendor to replace the existing galvanized pipes, fittings, and valves within the Well House at James River State Park. All Inquiries for Information Should Be Directed To: Barbara Little, Procurement Officer at barbara.little@dcr.virginia.gov . All questions must be received via email by 4:00PM April 18, 2025. All questions must be in writing and will be answered in writing, by email or addendum. Direct contact with park personnel for solicitation details is prohibited and may result in a non-responsive bid. The following changes has been made to the Scope of Work: Install valve to isolate well house from large outdoor tank. Drain outdoor tank for installation of isolation valve and have tank refilled. Replace water meter with similar new meter. Work hours maybe extended with prior approval of the park. No work may occur between 10:00PM and 7:00AM.
