The Project consists of: 21st Century classroom upgrades including new flooring, tackable wallboard, technology upgrades, casework installation and select ADA improvements. A mandatory pre-bid conference/job-walk will be held on May 8, 2025, starting at 1:30 p.m., Bidders are only eligible to bid those site(s) for which they have visited during the job-walk. Contractors will be required to signin with the District’s Construction Manager to verify attendance, with the exception of the first site. The times below are estimates only. First-tier subcontractors performing under the license classifications: A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46, must also be on this same Prequalification list, Bidders listing an ineligible subcontractor may be deemed nonresponsive. The District s Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The District shall award the Contract, if it awards it at all, to the lowest responsive responsible Bidder(s) based on the combination of Base Bid(s) and/or Bid Options that equates to the lowest total project cost to the District. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Contract Documents. Bids must include a bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid amount as a guarantee that the Bidder shall enter into a contract. The successful Bidder(s) shall furnish Performance & Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the awarded contract amount. Any claim by a Bidder of error in its bid must be made in compliance with Public Contract Code 5100, et seq. The District is not responsible for bids received after the deadline or bids misdelivered even to a different District address.
