Vendor to provide Life Safety Device Inspection, Testing and Maintenance (ITM) Services for the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in accordance with the SOW. See page 45 for optional site visit information. VASLCHCS requires a single Contractor with the ability to perform life safety devices inspection, testing, maintenance (preventative and corrective) (ITM) of all devices across the buildings. The Contractor must be qualified and experienced in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10 and NFPA 101 requirements, American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z358.1 standards and the Joint Commission (TJC) standards. The Life Safety devices ITM may be supported by sub-contractors at the cost of the prime Contractor. The requirement for proof of certifications shall apply to all sub-contractors. The Contractor shall coordinate database updates of all ITM as defined in the most current editions of the TJC standards, NFPA codes, ANSI, and applicable VHA directives. The VA shall maintain the database. The C&A requirements do not apply, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. Solicitation questions shall be sent via email to: thomas.parsons2@va.gov no later than 12:00pm CST, on 5/4/2025. An amendment with responses to all questions asked timely, will be posted no later than 12:00pm CST, on 5/7/2025. The period of performance shall be from the date of award for a base year and 4 option years.
