Site work for a water / sewer project in Great Neck, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of the project is to install approximately 1,000 linear feet of new 12" C.L.D.I. water main including new valves, hydrants and all appurtenances. All work shown and specified in the Contract Documents shall be the work of this Construction Contract. The Owner does not anticipate awarding other prime contracts for the project as shown. This Section provides an abbreviated summary of the work for the Construction Contracts associated with the Owners program to construct the project. ABBREVIATED SUMMARY OF WORK A. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, means, methods, and incidentals necessary to complete the Work as required by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. The contractor shall coordinate, through the Owner/Engineer, the work of their contract with any work by others. B. This following abbreviated summary is provided in order to briefly describe the work covered by the Contract Documents for this Construction Contract. It is not all inclusive of the work under the Contract. C. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Installation of water main, valves, hydrants and fittings. 2. Disinfection, pressure testing, and bacteriological testing. 3. Connections to existing water mains. 4. Abandonment of existing water main. 5. Asbestos cement pipe handling. 6. Abandoment at water main disconnections. 7. Installation of new water services. 8. All types of restoration. 9. Site Cleanup. 10. Project Closeout
