Site work for a mixed-use development in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Boa Brook Trail is in the City Centre area, within a mixed residential neighborhood. Boa Brook stream runs through the neighborhood and along a protected streamside area that is part of Eastview Park. In 2021, the City built a section of the trail at 3148 Horn Street. Now, the City plans to extend this trail to connect with Eastview Trail further south in Eastview Park. In addition to the trail work, a staircase replacement is required at the Eastview Trail trailhead. This new connection will give residents better access to the beautiful natural environment and serve as an important link to the larger local trail network, including Horn Creek Trail, Eastview Trail, and Century Park Trail. The project includes work on two key trail sections and for staircase replacement, as follows: i. A new natural trail along the SROW (BCP36136) at the back of private properties located at 3073, 3081, 3089, and 3097 Eastview Street, to meet the Citys Nature Trail standard (to a modified standard). ii. Upgrades to Eastview Trail to meet the Citys Nature Trail standard (to a modified standard), and decommissioning a section of the existing trail. iii.
