Renovation of an educational facility in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 47,880-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The new work generally consists of removing and replacing the existing window systems as called for on the drawings. Sealed bids will be received for the following contract: 1. Over all Single Prime (all of the work) C. One (1) Original and (1) copy of the Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Mrs. Danielle Mancuso, Business Administrator and shall be identified on the outside of the package (outside of mailing package if mailed) with the following: Bid for Window Replacements at the Henry B. Milnes Elementary School. Following the conference,the Architect may send a written memorandum to all Bidders indicating any addendaand/or clarification items, if required. All technical questions, comments, and inquiries should be directed to Solutions Architecture directly through the BidBox portal. Please login to your BidBox account and in the Bidder Dashboard select Submit RFI under thecorresponding project. DO NOT send RFI's to bidding@solutions-arch.com or the info@solutions-arch.com inbox as they will not be responded to; the last day for questionsis May 7th, 2025, (2:00 pm EST). Questions received after 2:00 pm will not be responded to. Bids shall be made on the Forms of Proposal provided and must be accompanied by bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder shall submit with its bid, a Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A.18A:18A-25 from a Surety company stating that it will provide the bidder and all subcontractors, if successful, with a performance/payment bond in the full amount of the contract. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. N.J.S.A. 18A:-18A-36(a). The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the best interest of the Owner to do so and to award contracts only to those whose proposal is deemed by the Owner to be most advantageous to the interest of the public. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements of employment andminimum wage rates to be paid under the Contracts pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. Pursuant to the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act" (P.L. 1999, c.238), bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Bidders must comply with the requirements of "The Law Against Discrimination," setforth at N.J.S.A. 10:2-1, et seq., and Affirmative Action, set forth at N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq.,and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-6.3(a) (4), bidders must submit an executed C.271 political contribution disclosure form in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.26. Bidders and subcontractors identified in the bid must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and possess a Business Registration Certificate. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, all bidders shall pre-qualify as required by the State of NewJersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction,and each bid shall be accompanied by an affidavit so certifying pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18-32.
