The City of Jonesboro will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Runway 23 Extensionproject at the Jonesboro Municipal Airport. The work is generally describedas follows: Project includes 500' extensionto the north end of runway 5/23and the parallel taxiway, regradingof the safety area, and relocationof large drainage ditch to thenorth end of the airfield. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument equivalent tofive percent (5%) of the total bidis required and shall be madepayable to the City of Jonesboro.
