Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to inspect and repair an 800-gallon fuel tank at the CAL FIRE, Ukiah Station. As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is committed to meeting the State's 25 percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB), and contractors willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of 25 percent (25%) of their net bid price to certified SBs or MBs (if applicable),are encouraged to submit bids. are encouraged to submit bids. See Section D, Special Programs, Item 2, in this IFB for requirements. However, if you have questions, or should you need any clarifying information, the contact person for this IFB is: Derek Fergason California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection derek.fergason@fire.ca.gov The representative may only sign-in for one (1) company. Subcontractors may not represent a potential prime contractor at a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough. No bid will be accepted unless the bidder or his authorized representative was in attendance This Agreement will commence on June 01, 2025 (estimate) or upon approval by the California Department of General Services (DGS), whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by DGS. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. This Agreement shall expire on June 01, 2026 (estimate). The services shall be provided during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law Potential Bidders who attended the mandatory pre-bid walk-through may submit written questions regarding the bid by May 09, 2025. All questions should be emailed in writing to derek.fergason@fire.ca.gov. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after May 09, 2025.Written questions must include: the individual's name, firm name, complete address and must reference IFB No. 1CA07405.
