The Project includes the follow-ing Work: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals re-quired and construct the improve-ments in their entirety as shown on the Plans and as specified herein. The Work may include, but is not necessarily limited to, the fol-lowing: 1. the furnishing and installa-tion of ASTM A53 Type S, Sch. 10 Encasement Pipe 2. the furnishing and installa-tion of tee type intake screens and pneumatic actuated isolation valves 3. the furnishing and installa-tion of a compressed air system (compressor, controls, ancillaries, and compressed air piping) for the pneumatic actuators 4. the demolition and disposal of the existing steel encasement 5. mobilization and demobiliza-tion 6. clearing, grubbing, earth-work, seeding, and erosion control 7. electrical and controls work 8. miscellaneous appurte-nances 9. safety systems 10. items of construction work and/or materials not specifically addressed herein, but nonetheless required for a complete, operat-ing, and acceptable installation of the work, shall be considered subsidiary to the lump sum bid item, and the cost thereof shall be considered to be included. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids will be subject to the require-ments of the Arkansas Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Programs as de-scribed in the contract docu-ments. All qualified applicants will re-ceive consideration for employ-ment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Bidders on this work will be re-quired to comply with the Presi-dent's Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Each Bidder must comply with the requirements, terms, and con-ditions of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, the Dis-advantaged, Minority and Women Business Enterprise (DBE/MBE/WBE) requirements, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (Public Law 113-76) including the "American Iron and Steel (AIS)" requirement, Labor Standards, Equal Employment Op-portunity, and the "Prohibition on certain telecommunication and video surveillance services or equipment provisions" during the performance of this contract. The Bidder commits itself to the re-quirements for the participation contained herein and all other re-quirements, terms, and conditions of these bid conditions by submit-ting a properly signed Bid.
