Cart Path Asphalt Overlay Project Lump Sum bid is to include all required milling, all minor leveling and wedging, tack coat, and 1- 1/2" pre rolled asphalt surface cap. Lump Sum bid for new cart paths shall include excavation and haul off, 6" of compacted DGA, and 3" of asphalt surface. Lump Sum bid for alternate bid areas shall include 6" of compacted DGA and 3" of asphalt surface. Project Final Completion 45 days after Notice to Proceed. Final Completion Deadline: 60 Calendar Days. A copy of all questions must be submitted in writing to Meghan VanMeter, Procurement Manager, at purchasing@bgky.org. The deadline for questions is May 2, 2025. A cashier's check, or certified check, may be substituted for the Bid Bond. Also, an irrevocable letter of credit from a state or federally chartered bank, may be substituted as a form of a Bid Bond. The Bid Bond, or substitution security, shall be in the amount of five (5) percent of the total bid cost. Upon contractual agreement, the successful Respondent must replace the Bid Bond with a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount no less than one hundred (100) percent of the total bid cost.
