The Township of Malahide is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to undertake the development of a comprehensive Water and Wastewater Master Servicing Plan. This initiative is a critical component of the Township's long-term infrastructure planning framework and is intended to guide future servicing strategies that support sustainable growth and development across the community. The primary objective of this Master Servicing Plan is to assess the current state of the Township's water and wastewater infrastructure and to evaluate its capacity to accommodate projected growth. Through this process, the Township seeks to identify key opportunities for optimization and expansion, as well as any existing or emerging challenges that may hinder efficient and cost-effective servicing. This Plan will serve as a foundational document to inform future capital investment decisions, development approvals, and inter-municipal coordination efforts. It is anticipated that the final deliverable will provide a clear, evidence-based roadmap for ensuring that the Township's servicing capacity and distribution systems remain aligned with population growth, economic development goals, and environmental stewardship priorities.
