Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project will generally consist of the construction of a masonry sign, concrete walkways, plantings, lighting and general restoration activities. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. It is anticipated that the contract award shall be made by the Owner on May 19, 2025 since TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. Thus, the Contractor shall be required to complete all work in accordance with these contract documents within one hundred fifty (150) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, anticipated for June 1, 2025. Therefore, the Contractor is hereby notified that the project completion date shall be October 31, 2025. The Contractor is further notified that liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day shall be assessed by the Owner against the Contractor for each and every day that the project remains incomplete beyond the project completion date.
