Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium - Giraffe Barn & Habitat - Bid Package 2 JE Dunn has been awarded Construction Manager for the upcoming Giraffe Habitat at the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium. The Project will consist of a new pre-engineered metal building with dayrooms and stalls for year-round viewing and feeding opportunities, a small dining area, restrooms, and a complex sitework and landscaping package. We are requesting bids for the solicited Scopes of Work and the included Project Drawings. Project will be under a Prevailing Wage order. Project will be signatory to the following Union Agreements - Laborers, Carpenters, Iron Workers, Bricklayers, Cement Finishers, and Operators. This project began demolition and earthwork in March 2025 with an anticipated completion of June 2026. This Project has MBE/WBE/LBE goals of 22%, 8%, and 15%, respectively. If your company is able to contribute Kansas City, MO MBE/WBE certifications, please note those in your bids.
