Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Pine Beach, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

**As of June 2, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes the reconstruction and upgrading of Borough roads "Pennsylvania Avenue" and "Grant Avenue" including concrete walkway reconstruction, roadway milling and paving, storm sewer system construction, curb installation, traffic striping, and general surface restoration, within the Borough of Pine Beach, Ocean County, New Jersey as well as all other work of any type or description necessary for completion of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within (60) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "Borough of Pine Beach" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by Borough of Pine Beach in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through the New Jersey Department of Transportation. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976), vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. Borough of Pine Beach intends to award this Project to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder whose Bid Packet complies with its requirements for the Project, provided that in the judgment of Borough of Pine Beach is reasonable, within available funds and in the interest of the Borough of Pine Beach. The Borough of Pine Beach reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents.
