Questions must be received no later than 12:00 PM on May 23rd, 2025. DO NOT present questions directly to the Architect/Engineer or the School District. BUSINESS EQUITY: The project is committed to providing an opportunity for participation in contracting local, small, and diverse business entities. Highline Public Schools has set a project goal of 10% minority business enterprises (MBEs), 6% women business enterprises (WBEs), and 5% public works small business enterprises (PWSBE), all state certified with the Office of Minority and Women Business Enterprises (OMWBE) Participation may be either on a direct contract basis or as a sub-tier trade partner or supplier. RETENTION: Skanska plans to obtain a Retention Bond for the project. Subcontractors will have the option of participating in the Skanska retention bond in lieu of having retention held. Those who do not participate will be held to the standard 5% retention. Skanska USA Building, Inc. reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any non-material informalities or irregularities in the bids received. A bidder may withdraw its proposal by submitting a written request before the bid opening time. Skanska will return the proposal unopened after contract award.
