Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for the work involved in the replacement of domestic water piping (cold and hot, and recirculation) at Trenton High School. Work area will include the school's east wing, majority of the second floor, and will also incorporate sections of west wing. This project's Scope of Work will address critical infrastructure needs as identified and address ongoing maintenance and operational issues related to lead in drinking water and yellow water. This project will also align the school with Ontario Building Code standards. It is the respondent’s responsibility to arrive at the meeting space on time and schedule for unforeseen unknowns that may delay arrival to the meeting location. Once the meeting has begun, it is considered closed to any other respondents. Late arrivals will not be permitted to sign in. Attendance will be taken at the commencement of the meeting and only those in attendance for the full length of the meeting will be eligible to submit quotations. Quotations received from General Contractors not on the list of attendees at the site visit/pre-quotation meeting will not be considered. Sub-trade respondents are also encouraged to attend this meeting as an introduction to the scope of work required by General Contractors. There will be no meeting minutes taken at site meetings by HPEDSB.
