This Request for Prequalification ("RFPQ") is Refresh#1 Notification by the Board of Education of School District No. 36 - Surrey ("SD36") to prospective respondents wishing to qualify for inclusion on a roster of qualified General Contractors that will be eligible to compete for potential work assignments as further described in the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Work"). SD36 is interested in receiving submissions from General Contractors with proven experience and successful history in managing construction of public institutional facilities and school construction projects demonstrating knowledge in renovations and, construction of new schools or additions (or other public buildings). Information is only being requested at this time to identify qualified General Contractors and therefore pricing for these projects is not required and not requested at this time. It is the intent of SD36 to establish rosters of qualified contractors for the following thresholds: o $200,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 o $1,000,001.00 to $5,000,000.00 o $5,000,001.00 to $30,000,000.00 o $30,000,001.00 to $75,000,000.00 o $75,000,001.00 to over Questions Due Date: May 5th 2025, 2:00 PM PDT Questions submitted to electronically NOTE: SD36 currently maintains a separate Roster for the Prequalified General Contractors (RFPQ # 2019-21-FW General Contractors) for projects less than $200,000. This new Roster for General Contractors is to be established and utilized for projects greater than $200,000 as per the scope referenced in Appendix B. Acceptance to each list is through an independent process and Contractors who wish to be on both Rosters must apply to each independently.
