Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Tenders are invited for the construction of a temporary truck parking facility and 18 Avenue Roadworks under Contract No. 1725-024-11. The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 4 hectares of gravel parking improvements and Municipal Roadworks, consisting of the following key elements: Stripping and onsite stockpiling/placement of approximately 13,000 cubic meters of topsoil as Embankment Fill; Supply, grading, and compaction of approximately 17,500 cubic meters of imported granular material to establish the parking lot structure; Construction of a perimeter bioswale drainage feature to manage onsite runoff; and Construction of 18 Avenue to an interim municipal road standard. All work is to be completed in accordance with the contract documents and applicable municipal standards. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
